Apple MacBook Air - WOW!!!!!!!

THE MACBOOK AIR REVIEWED!!!!

The MacBook Air is the thinnest laptop in the world. Beautifully crafted body and some innovative features. Apple has managed to streamline the Air and pack in a Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB RAM, a 13 inch LED screen and a full size backlit keyboard.

Ultrathin and ultraportable. The big Multi-Touch trackpad gives you iPhone like functionality to pinch, zoom and flip through photo.

But to achieve this super thin form factor some compromises on functionality were made - the absence of an ExpressCard slot, FireWire, LAN or optical drive and only one USB port.

A fixed battery means you have to send it to Apple when you need a replacement. With its premium $1,799 price tag, it's not rocket science to figure out that you can get more bang for your buck with other laptops on the market.

Is the MacBook air a showcase of cutting edge technology, or is it an amazing device but with too many compromises?
