Been out of this city for a while and each time i've come back for a short break, something seems wrong. Telangana,riots ..lists is endless. Keep wondering why does this have to happen here and one after the other. It's not the people who r to be blamed, its these bloody politicians.

Lets look at Telangana first. Before i go further into this topic i would like to clarify my stand.I am Pro United AP else would like to see Hyd as a UT. Now, i wanna ask these people who protested where were they for so many years? Why dint they protest the way they did earlier? Opportunistic leaders who saw a power vacuum after the demise of the CM are to be blamed. All they want is power and money and would go to any extremes to achieve it. These losers need to be thrown out! What do they know/care about Telangana i ask!

Riots! Got damn the very same politicians again! I vouch for every hyderabadi i know irrespective of the religion that both these communities have lived in harmony and would continue to do so but again these bloody politicians cant see this and need to play spoilsport!

Dont they realise that they are screwing up this city! We've lost alot in the past 6-7 months which is pretty obvious. The question to be asked is why are we letting them do this? why are we so indifferent? Answers we need to search for fast else it would be too late and we would have lost whatever we have left...

The past 2 days have been very strange and a lesson for every one on campus that studying aint the only thing in life..a classmate of mine had to be hospitalized due to stress related problems which lead to a slight mental imbalance...thank god he is mostly out of it , but would take time to recover from it...Is studying 24/7 the only thing in life?? Is giving up precious amt of minimum sleep for that extra grade or pay check worth it?? Whats the point of screwing urself mentally and physically and whats the point of these high grades and fat pay checks when u dont have the mental peace or arent in a position to enjoy it!!! Hopefully this example would make everyone atleast here rethink on what they actually want and how better to have a work-life balance...i wouldnt like to write more on this as i think each one of us needs to introspect on this...so until next ..be healthy cause its One Life to Love!!!

Hmmm... what makes a good CV? I never realised the importance of doing stuff just to add it onto my CV . I used to laugh at ppl who used to take part in competitions as well as used to organize events just for certificates. Now i know whose having the last laugh!! However unimportant it might be..take the bloody certificate..take part in the bloody compettion !! it helps to fill up ur so called ordinary(milder form of bullshit) CV!!Especially if ur fresher!!! so as i sit in disgust looking at my CV..i wonder why i dint do what the rest of the herd does!! Well the first 10 days at Gods own Kampus have been a roller coaster!!! Assignments,tasks,case studies,ragging,midnight classes by seniors and yes have had fun too... pranks,getting wet in the rain,pulling each others legs,night canteen,STI classes etc etc.Coming to me, its been bloody tough for me, a person who is used to sleeping for 9 hours gets only 3 hours of sleep on a regular basis will def feel like kicking himself on his backside for dreaming of doing an MBA!! 10 days down the line, i've gotten used to it and strangely finding time to get in 6-7 hours of continuous sleep.Food's decent enough and my hostel rooms amazing- awesome view,a luxurious loo, a roomie who doesn't bug me( i bug him though)and well good hostel mates..btw its a Co-ed hostel here!!lol!!Coming to the academics part- professors are professors!!u hate them u love them!!coming back to the STI classes i mentioned earlier..the best part of life @ iim-k ! Prof Mathew from MICA is hilarious and man he puts u on the spot while covering topics like sexuality,porn,racism etc etc!!the only class which u listen to!!Oh and yeah..200 acres of serene beauty and the hills of wayanad at a distance, make this place awesome! Having a cup of tea while its pouring cats and dogs at midnight, BLISS !!! ill keep posting u guys about what life @ iim-k is !!! until next time cya!!

The Results to the lok sabbha elections are out!!Some surprises with some big wigs loosing, some parties getting routed in areas of their dominance, some under dogs showing the world nothings impossible as long as u believe in it, some miracles and the list goes on but the best and the most important thing we can take away from the results is the realization that the countries more important than a specific regional interest when it comes to voting in the lok sabbha.The last few years we had regional parties defining wad this country would do and what would their policies be.But the election results have shown that everybody was a stable strong government at the center which would take the necessary steps & decisions its lacking. i really hope this is just the beginning and hope to see some fresh faces in the cabinet who would realize the importance and the strength of the position they are holding and the desires of the people so that they could fullfill them !!! I know its optimistic but as obama said some time back "Yes, We Can" and India is country which can !!! The Great Indian Tamasha ends but been hell of an amazing circus!!!

You make friends and get to know them as time passes..some stick on and others don't.. a question which i still can't answer is why those who drift away from u, actually drift away? Am i to be blamed ?Was i at fault for things turning out the way they have?
Questions keep popping up as u move from school to college and then beyond..each time the same question and each time the same helplessness in trying to figure out what the actual reason was..the hardest part is when some good friends move away from u!! u try doing everything u can to stop it form happening even though u know its pointless..Ive come to this realization that people change and i did too...was that the reason? Could very well be..but its sad that things are destined to be not what u want to be!!

P.S:-this is my 150th post!!should been a cheerful one but strangely it turned out to be the opposite...anyways il be back on a regular basis now..so stick on cause ur gonna have some fun...

A Month and a Half Later:

22-01-09:Osmania results out...but wait ..i havent attended AI?? I was Absent for it!!! Overall Status:Student Failed

The results were a shocker.I was absent for an exam??Where the hell was i during the exam??Questions were asked but no answers were available..why why was i marked absent in an exam even though i was present for it physically as well as mentally, a rare combination though :p.I was pissed and went straight to the college authorities who told me indirectly "sorry we cant help as of now..wait for the actual memos to come and then we'll see if we can do anything" .Those losers love playing with the lives of students and take things so easy.Dont they understand that we too are humans??If their children ha dot go through the same shit would they have said the same?Anyways i fired those losers and then used contacts in OU to get an application filed.strangely the college where i wrote the exam was more willing to help though i expected the opposite.

Days passed , no change yet...tension building as i needed them for my interviews at certain colleges....Finally 2 weeks on...

07-02-09 :The OU people call up and inform me about the new memo .I zoom to the office and pick it up.I was so happy to see the word "Passed" in my memo that i gave a bunch of cops 50 bucks for their "chai-pani".

Anyways moral of the story..ur college wont help u when u need them...never trust ur university ...build contacts wherever u can from watchmen to officers cause one day ull need them and last but not the least dont be shocked if ur marked "absent" when ur results are out..it happens as they say , ur not the only one!!

i know thats inspired form "Oye! Its Friday! " the new farhan akhtar show on tv but who cares man...i use oye all the time so do i care!!! Btw nice show..do watch it!! Okay for the past couple of days ive been going through loads of stuff on personal interviews in all these premier B-Schools and some of it is hillarious..these old proffs aint as bad as everyone potrays them to be...some of their jokes are really sad but would prefer one to a gaali by some asshole sitting on the chair and acting as if he's GOD!! But one things for sure if some one actually wants to crack any interview try cracking the MTV Roadies interview by Raghu & Rajiv!!! Those guys are such B@@@@@@s !! They'll start off by decimating ur character and then one by one throwing more shit at u til u actually break down and give up!!! How i wish i was opposite raghu for one such interview...would have been fun...two egoistic arrogant aggressive assholes taking on each other would be so much fun!!!Am sure he would have knocked me down but i would have fought like rocky balboa in the latest rocky movie!!! What a joke!!! lol .... Anyone out there who can help me in getting those precious seconds with Raghu??? Coming back to these interviews i guess its all about self confidence and recalling wadever uve studied in the past 15 years of education!! Its back to basics and school books for me for the coming few weeks(am counting on getting a call from some good b school atleast..am not that bad, aint I????? hmmmm...)...oh and yeah coming to school its the 85th year celebrations of The Hyderbad Public School (Jagidars College) -Begumpet....man hope i can make it for the gala dinner!!! Can anybody other than my friend pk understand wad goes on in the head of a girl!!And y pk u ask..am sure he's not human..may be an alien tapkofied on this planet earth to save the men from the women!! So a friend of mine gets a mail that he has won 750,000 pounds in the above said lottery and receives a mail.That guy responds just for fun assuming its fake..the guy then responds back to his mail and tells him that he'll be soon sending someone down to india...3 days go past and no news..suddenly this friend receives a call from someone in delhi claiming to be the person who will hand him over the money!!! He puts a condition though that this friend has to pay a certain amt s charges!!! He hangs up and then send shim a mail with a photocopy of the "passport" and the bank details in which that certain amt has to be deposited as charges!!!This friend of mine stil plays along and tells him that even though he feels that this guys fake he'll pay the money once the winning mat is verified..the guy on the other side starst off with "dude!! dont u belive me" and hangs up..eh again calls and tries his luck and my friend tells him that oh sure my cousin wil meet u in delhi and give u the cash as well as take the cash at the same time and starts laughing!!! That ass dint dare calling back... have a look at the mails and the fake passport ...loads of fun aint it!!!So whats the moral of the lesson...if ur bored in ur holidays and someones tryin to fool u..act as if ur getting fooled and do away with the boredom as boredom breads insanity :p ..trust me on that last night i went totally insane online bugged ppl so much that they had to go offline !!!

Is this the homage and respect we have for each one of our martyrs??

Another thought comes up...here every man who went in to fight was equal..no diff between a major and a hawaldar!! Each fought with the other for the other!! The officers lead from the front.... And the sissy politicians just hid in their houses and when the things were over came running to pose infront of the cameras...We dont need such politicians who cant lead from the front and arent ready to lay their lives for their country!!!

These soldiers are our heroes and its time we pay respect and acknowledge their sacrifices!!! We need a new India ..an India where every person is like one of them!!! Its time for a change and throw the shit out of our system...Lets make the difference!!!Take part in elections and vote these losers who supposedly represent us out!! Wondered where i've been for the past 3 days!!In a state of shock looking at whats happening in mumbai.Been glued to the tv since then and till now continue to be in a state of shock.The situation still hasn't sinked in and i don't think it will anytime soon.Enough of the resilience.None of us can take it anymore.All of us feel insecure in our very homes!!Its time for a movement..a movement for a change and a movement by the people and for the people.We have had enough of those politicians and babus of the government!Those ppl will forget this in a months time and we'll have the next blast and this wil continue unless we the people do something..the only thing that wil matter to them is better utilization of the ghastly acts for their political careers.I can actually continue writing stuff abt all this but then i think every Indian has realised that the times come....

But in all his mayhem there's been one thing that still keeps me going is the determination ,strength, valour of the armed forces.Many of them have given their lives and these are the sam every people till a month back whom most of the politicians dint agree to them getting a pay rise on par with the rest!!This is how we respect our heroes??And yes Mr Raj Thackrey, where are ur marathi manoos... i think uve got the signal sir..this is india , ur an indian and then a marathi manoos.The army guys giving up their lives were not marathis, north indians,south indians...they were and always wil be Indians.Be proud of them and if u or any othe rpolitician makes this into a political issue ull probably be digging ur own grave!!

I hate waiting!!!I hate it when ppl delay things!!!Its so often in life that i have to wait and wait and wait and wait................. and wait for some people or somethings in life.For me the waiting is a tad more because am punctual and the ppl i know aren't anything but punctual!!

Right from the school days, i used to go with this friend to school..and he used to be so late that i could go and come back from school in that much time.And am still waiting !!!

Then in college met this freak who would always be sleeping and unfortunately or some might say fortunately we go together..and again the same old story .And am still waiting!!!

You go to a government office for some documents they make u wait and wait ..till u loose ur patience and eventually walk out..they do this so that they don't have to move their ass off the chair.And am still waiting!!!

Results!! Get them done with fast..have i passed or failed!!Nope they will make me wait and wait till am just about to pee in my pants.And am still waiting!!!

Girls!! Haven't found anyone yet sadly : p.The only good part of it that i don't have to wait for a girl to land up at some place for a date.Girls are always late.And am still waiting!!

Yes our very very famous Mr .Modi is going in for a makeover!! No , no not Lalit Modi of The IPL, Its the man we love to hate rather i love to hate..as one famous person quoted "the maut ka saudagar" , none other than wohich apun ka Modi..how u ask?? Look at him guys..he is running from city to city to meet the top industrialists and then promising major economic changes..but the one thing that stands out is his move to demolish a number of illegal temples in his land against the wishes of the Sangh!!!This is called an XTREME MAKEOVER !!! The same man who was a so called "icon" of hindutva going against it now!! Seems strange isnt it...This got me thinking ..why?? itna badlav?? kyun??Then struck the idea..mr modi wants to play the game at the center!! He wants to be the PM in waiting and for that he needs to change the perceptions people have abt him!! But then are people actually so dumb not to catch the obvious trick in it!!!I really dont think he'll ever be able to get a makeover after the riots!!!I dont like him a bit !!!U cant kill so many and then say sorry dude that was a mistake...if he thinks its totally fine and an apology is all that he has to give for ppl to forgive him ..he's wrong..every culprit whose lying in the jails also must be thinking of the same..if modi can it so can i!!! Three weeks is all there is and all i have, for me to fullfill my ambition of getting into one of the best b schools in the country.But sadly i wont be able to utilize this time because of my semester exams happening at the same time.By now each aspirant knows deep down inside where he realistically stands a chance and how badly or well he is doin in his prep!And yes i'm one of them too.My chances aint that gr8 but i stil have an outside chance.At this point of time a single bad news or a setback can get one tensed and all messed up! I screwed my exam..or in better words dint do that well and on top of that people i know guessed and did pretty well..and then it hurts more!!U start thinking negative and then start believing again on destiny and luck!!! Is CAT all about luck?? The above line sums it up!!The US economy crashed because people worked to owe their debts . they had no option but to work or default on their payments.People took such huge loans that it was impossible for them to repay it..they took a number of loans on a single property and using one loan took another and to pay the other took another and so on and so forth. So as they owed they worked.
Well is India facing the same crisis or on the verge of one?? Hmm may be!!The good part of this economic meltdown or recession or wadever u might call it is that it gives us as Indians an opportunity to grow and look back and analyse wads wrong before its too late.It gives us an opportunity to consolidate our position in the world economy and lead the world out of this financial mess.Very rarely do u get such things served on a platter that too in bed!!Its upto us now ..do we change our destiny for the good or sink with the rest!

Yes u got it right MBA no longer stands for what we all commonly believe it to be...Its turning out to be a Masters in Bomb Assembly!! Look at the recent terrorist attacks in Delhi and just go through the profiles of the people whom the Police says are behind the attacks and then it strikes u that they are young educated with bright future like most of us..Many of them are from Jamia Islamia University, one is from IIPM and each is pursuing courses like any normal Indian of his age..from MBA to Diploma in HRD to a course in English to engineering ...Students like u & me!!! Why then are they carrying such gory acts??Why then are they harming innocent people??why are the young educated getting brainwashed to harn others?

There are too many questions and its time the government actually starts taking this new form of terrorism more seriously and try killing it in its bud before its too late!!And i think each one of us should introspect on this issue and try getting an answer..all of us might come to diff conclusions but the point is we the common Indian need to stand up and fight it before its too late and not rely on the government or any instituion...Man! this sends shivers down my spine ..the very thought of someone being as educated as them doing what they are!!!

Its been a while since ive updated my blog..earlier it used to churn out one blog a day but now its fallen to 1 blog a fortnight.Since the last time i blogged..theres a lot taken place..from the financial mess to terrorist attacks to floods...and il just get down to a few issues in this post which i found interesting...
Lets start with the economic turmoil!! Lehman brothers doesnt exist anymore..AIG got a bail out..Morgan Stanley and Goldmansachs are on the verge of collapsing...why wad how in 2 weeks all this!!!The free American Economy got so relaxed abt norms which led to them giving loans to those who couldnt repay and then investments in things which really had no opportunity to grow and finally some of them over investing in one area and with that area goin through a lean patch the companies crashed...in the last couple of weeks theres been so much of action and some ppl say the worsts not yet over...many more wil fall and many more of ppl like us will have to struggle even more for a living...Am hopin to do my MBA next year i just hope the economy revives soon or else its gonna be tough for us...Another strange thing is the fluctuating price of crude...yesterday it went up by a whoppingt 25$ to 130$ a barrel and then finally settling down to 120 odd and today its fallen to 108$ levels..even the Indian rupee is fluctuating like the yoyo...Inflation here in India doesnt seem to be in control ..prices stil rising..government policies are stil in a mess..dono where we're heading for but one things for sure we need to get ourselves mentally prepared to go on a rollercaoster ride and yes u might throw up and feel dizzie in between but then thats the name of the game called Life!!

Strange it may be...but yes ive been loyal to vodafone/hutch for over 3 years now inspite of havin no network in class..extra charges poppin up for no reasons..network problems...call dropping.......the list wont end for sure..check out one of my earlier posts where i wrote loads of gaalis for vodafone..now vodafone suddenly decided to make us eof their "Happy to Help" tag line and "Make the most of now" by giving their so called "LOYAL" customers like me free life time validity to appreciate us sticking to them inspite of all the crap we have to face...But now now vodafone wil always be vodafone!!Can they actually be so nice??Hmmm naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.....................The truth behind all this goody feeling is that they are shit scared that with the launch of the new networks in the comin months most of their existing customers may leave..most have already done that but thats another story..Do they think that the existing customers are so dumb that if u give them free validity they wil stick on..SERIOUSLY THEY ARE DUMB!!! only a minute number may buy that but others wil simply say TATA...And hey anybody from vodafone reading this..we r not as loyal as the pug in ur ad !!
Feels stranger now that i havent been that critical of vodafone and havent use my dictionary of abusive words for them...Am making the "most of now" with this extra validity until soem new problem turns up..and am sure its round the corner!!

Nano - Is it time to say TATA to Singur?

The most talked about car of the year , may be the decade..the nano was gonna herald a new revolution in the indian auto industry but sadly its heralded in a political revolution in the communist stronghold against the communists rather than the latter.An ambitious project to manufacture a 1 lakh car needs all the backing from all stratas of society.But in India there is one class of people who wil always oppose it- the political class!!!They need a reason to protest and make an issue out of something to gain some electoral votes.The protests at Singur and the blockage of the highway is it making more and more difficult for the TATAs to continue with their factory there.Aprt from that there staff is being threatened too...Most of u who read my blog must be knowing abt the politics of it so i shall nto go into that.Ill bring out a totaly new angle....

Whose funding the protesters??Figures put it at Rs 1 crore a day is being spent on them...its too huge an amount for any party to spend on a daily basis.The CBI and the IT dept should go ahead and look into the accounts of these parties.Goin on with the next question..Who wil suffer the most if the NANO rolls out??The answer is pretty obvious the 2 wheelers companies...
SO my next question..Have they got anything to do with it??YES very well may be true..as Ratan Tata put it in an intervioew a few months back that certain corporates are tryin to sabotage this whole project..I cant give u the names cause i dono who they are..they are rumours abt certain companies and would like to keep them like that and not mention them here..

Now its no more just a political issue..its as much as a corporate battle as a political one..I think the TATAs ,who have been known for there humanity and are undoubtedly the most respected Indian corporate, should get out of that place and say TATA to Singur..monetary loss set aside..Its gonna hit them hard but then once the problems start they wil never end..a temp solution may com eout but peace and stability wil not be long lasting..

I really would have loved to write my opinions on this but then something just stopped me from doin so and i deleted every word , sentence i put together..may be because the reality bites and its difficult to ignore some facts that come up.I really hope things settle down there and people from J&K prosper and that they finally feel Indian just like u and me.Its time for some serious thinking on it..the government needs to understand that money cant buy u everything.But one thing i am totally against is the politicization of the issue..its a sincere request from a proud citizen of this country, and i know that they are many more like me ,who would want the dirty politicians to keep off this..these guys are just in it to get something out of it that will help them politically and nothin else...they dont give a damn to the issue...lets just hope that these politicians get out of it before its too late and realise that they are digging their own grave.Lets wait and watch!Hope for the best!!

3 months for CAT-2008..the mother of all exams..and the goings getting tougher and my performances of late have dipped despite of my hardwork..things dont seem so bright but should i take it to heart at this crucial juncture?????!!No...everyone goes through a bad patch and am happy that am goin through it now and not during the actual exam.Am happy cause there's only one way from here and thats the way to the top.U might think am too positive but if u keep on givin it ur best day after day and have the confidence in u then u mostly will achieve wad uve desired too.I can and so i mostly will!!The future just looks tougher..jugling between CAT and college wont be a cake walk but i know i can so i will give it my best irrespective of the outcome at this point of time.If u have it in u that u can then u surely will!!SO people out there reading this dont give up cause ur performances dont seem to be improving..give it ur best and as long as u have the confidence in u , u wil achieve wad u want to.The goings getting tougher and the toughers just got going so be strong and fight it out like a boxer who is ready to give his/her opponent a knockout punch..so all the best and lets kick some ass!!!

24 hours and counting and the rain doesnt seem to die down..the predictions by the met dept say we are in for heavy showers the next 24 hours too and for a change ppl in the low lying ares of hyd and the rest of AP hope and pray that the MET dept is off the mark in its predictions..

Am actually amazed that hyd still hasnt come to a total stand still and that we aint submerged..certain estimates put the rain at nearly 30% of the total rainfall that hyd receives during monsoon in the past 24 hours!!! Mind boggling figures ...

But the problem aint the rain !!Its the roads!!Ditches..Open Drains... Potholes.. Manholes.. Uprooted trees..Traffic jams..Water stagnation..Breaking down of Vehicles..Stranded people...No transportation...U cant afford to move out of ur house especially on a 2 wheeler and for ppl who think that "Oh!! i have a car and i dont care!!"..guys sorry to inform u that its not gonna be a cakewalk..seeing some pics on tv of cars getting stuck in the middle of those pools...u have to be brave to set out in this rain..

Even more shocking is the coverage of this by the national media..hey ndtv and cnn ibn...u guys show stuff that only affects u and the capital region or certain parts of north..when the souths suffering..u guys just turn ur back..its shameful!!!u call urself the national media but our u actually national..a small rain in delhi wil become breaking news and when ppl down south are suffering its nowhere to be seen ..a scroll is all u guys can show....ok enough of this media bashing..

Comin back to the rain...ill be soon posting pics of the deadliest potholes in hyd and i would like ppl to contribute to it..lets make a diff...

Beijing Olympics!!!

Less that 24 hours to go!!The biggest world sporting event is gonna kick off but wad does it hold for India?? Not much i guess..1 billion ppl and counting but sadly havent achieved anything at all at the olympics..apart from the few hockey medals and a medal or two here and there from shooting , tennis , weight lifting etc..And things dont look like they r gonna improve this year..eventhough we have chances of outdoin are previous records but even this is nothing of any significance when we compare it to the rest of the world..u really feel ashamed at this reality that olympics is a battle which we have no chances of winning anytime in the near future...

So where lies the basic problem? Why can’t we do well on the big stage? To me the problem lies in all of us.At the end of the day it is he himself who chooses to play and his passion is what should drive him.What I fail to understand time and again is how countries like Kazakhstan and Kenya stand way above us in the points tally when those athletes struggle for even two square meals a day. I'm reminded of people like Aslam Sher Khan, who learned the art of hockey with broken sticks and still brought laurels for us.Industry should also shoulder a huge amount of blame, though things are improving in this area. Companies have started to fund some sportsmen, but if we do see the reasons for India’s sustained failure in the Games over a period of time, one of the major points to come out would be lack of funding.The media must hold its hands up for not covering other sports with the same kind of enthusiasm that they cover cricket. There has been a lot of step-motherly treatment for other sports in this country but, fortunately for all of us, things are improving.

Every four years we live in hope of a miracle. The Olympics do not have the same importance for Indians as, say, the World Cup of cricket, but still the underachievers that most of us are, we love basking in the glory of some of our sporting icons who beat hardships day in, day out to still live hard and fight it out against the best in the world.Beijing 2008 is no different.

Thus, I would conclude by saying that I hope the 57-member contingent which is going to the Games and which has some star performers who are considered medal hopefuls do bring in joy to a sports-crazy nation like ours which has been craving success.

Being from a non "so called "backward caste in UP is the last thing anyone wants to be!! In this Maya Jaal, there is just one law that is the so called backward castes are kings and the rest are made to feel strangers and even backward in their own backyard.U have heard of POTA , MCOCA and other such anti terror laws but in UP u have this unwritten law thats deadlier than the ones mentioned above...and the law goes something like this.."Any allegation made by the backward caste people again anyone automatically invokes an arrest warrant without even investigation and the warrant is non bailable and is a minimum of 30 days"...the unwritten law goes against the basic rights of a person under the constituion where he/she has the right of a proper investigation and cant be just put behind bars or convicted if someone says anything or alleges something...This law is creatin panic among the people there because people are using this too their advantage by falsely accusing people of crimes just to benefit themselves..in most of the occassions either to get some money or land!!The people who are suffering the most are the farmers who have to just folow the line or get to go behind bars..the worse part is that even the police aint doin anything..the reasons given by them is that in thsi maya jaal the easiest way to get promotions is to solve cases relating to the backward castes fast and arresting more upper caste people....so the people who r supposed to protect u arent with u too!!!

The Maya Jaal has set a dangerous precedence and if things continue to go in the same way ..there might be a day when UP might get torne into pieces by caste based violence..And ill like to mention that one of my relatives has gone through this ordeal so found it fitting to write abt the Maya Jaal...Madam Maya u might fall into ur own Jaal and u might never get out of it!! So mend ways before its too late

i get fined every second day for using a number plate which has KA in it as its from karnataka..dont understand y?? common am an indian and if i have the freedom to reside anywhere i should have the freedom to use my vehicle anywhere too...thats another issue which i shall express my opinions later on..now coming back to the fact that is the police above the law they r there to protect and apply...they have the f***ing right to fien me for some foolish thing y cant they apply their own bloody rules on their community ...caught this cop on a bike today without a helmet and the traffic cop dint bother to even go upto him ... couldnt take the pic of the traffic cop as i was trying to avoid the cop becuase of my number plate!! who is the law for???Am sure they wil get away with murder too cause the inspector at the police station wil say " apun ka hi admi hai chod do na sahib"!! losah! suckas!!! am sure to abuse one of them soon..waiting to take my frustation out on those assholes who do wad they do only to make some money through "decent" means....

Rarely does a show come across on tv which actually represents all the forms of music and gives an equal opportunity to all the major genres in India (sufi,folk,bollywood) to present themselves to an audience which has very or infact zero knowledge of the different genres of music in the Indian subcontinent excpet for bollywood.Junoon is one fo those exceptions that comes on ndtv imagine and the idea behind this reality show is unique and takes lots of guts for the producer and the channel to present genres which are not at al popular.Earlier if someone would have told me to listen to Sufi , i would have laughed it off as some rubbish but now after listyening to it, u get an all new feeling..as the say goosebumps!!U get so into the emotions in the song that u feel ur in a diff world.I recommend that every one watches this show,junnon .. kuch kar dikhane ka, which come on ndtv imagine , and realises the depth and emotions that the other various forms of music in India atleast have..

Zindagi ne zindagi bhar gam diye..one such gham is goin back to the place we hate the most..apna college!!But as they say there is kabhi khusi kabhi gham and the ghams in going back am waiting to see wad the khushi is!!The teachers list is already out and ppl have already decided that they will be getting a backlog in one lab for sure..that particular teacher is known ot flunk ppl in labs that too in 4-2..ask me y??Things like not shaving,long hair,clothes,entering the clas sbefore him,fanmaking some noise and the resonating sound blowing his fuse off....anything and i mean anything under the sun can be a reason and for most of the ppl who flunk its got nothing to do with academics..btw if ur fair and a girlon top of that then ur sure to top the exam..the teachers got an obsession with his fairness and anyone out theer wanst to know how to become fair or not get a tan or wadever with being fair do contact him and he wil be free to give u tips and actually write down the names of a few creams...abt a year and a half back the very same guy had taught us for half a sem and in one such class he took a paper ,scribbled down the name of the cream and chori chori chupke chupke passed it onto one particular girl that too in class while he was teaching....there's a lot to be spoken abt this great teacher of ours and most of u would have undertsood by now that who is this gr8 soul....

Jaane tu ya jaane na...! i still cant sing it better than imran khan!damn!What a movie!!After a very long time saw a movie on the first day itself and it was def worth it!!

Two decades ago, the Mansoor Khan-helmed Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, starring two newcomers (Aamir Khan, Juhi Chawla), focused on teenage love, with parental opposition acting as an obstacle. The story wasn't new, but the treatment was fresh and inventive. QSQT remains one of the finest reference films in this genre and rightly so!Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na doesn't dare to be different. Basically a simple tale about a group of friends, it focuses on one couple that's in love, but is in a state of denial. Haven't we watched similar love stories in the past, you may ask. Sure, we have, but the execution of the subject makes all the difference.Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na works for a number of solid reasons and that's what the viewer carries home. A decent fare that takes you back to your adolescence, when friends seem to be the be-all and end-all.

Jai (Imran Khan) and Aditi (Genelia) are buddies. In fact, they hang out with their group of friends, but have eyes for each other only. Their friends know that Jai and Aditi are perfect for each other. Their parents know this as well. Everybody knows this. But the couple doesn't. So when do they realise it’s love?

Verdict: The bottom line is, Jaane Tu... is a nice, feel-good film – minus the chiffons and New York skyscrapers – that does not aspire to be a great work of art. Thank god for that!

1. TROJ_GENERIC

Malware Type: Trojan
This is the Trend Micro generic detection for low-threat Trojans. It also installs itself as a browser helper object (BHO) by creating certain registry keys.

2. WORM_NUWAR.CQ

Malware Type: Worm
This worm arrives as an attachment to mass-mailed email messages. It spreads by attaching a copy of itself to an email message, which it sends using its own Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) engine. Having its own SMTP engine allows it to send messages without using any mailing application, such as MS Outlook.

3. WORM_NYXEM.E

Malware Type: Worm
This worm propagates by attaching copies of itself to email messages that it sends to target addresses, using its own SMTP engine. Through this SMTP engine, it is able to easily send the email message without using other mailing applications, such as Microsoft Outlook.

4. WORM_NETSKY.DAM

Malware Type: Worm
This is Trend Micro's detection for the damaged samples of WORM_NETSKY variants. It runs on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 and XP.

5. HTML_NETSKY.P

Malware Type: HTML
This HTML malware arrives as an email with an executable file attachment that is detected by Trend Micro as WORM_NETSKY.P. It exploits a known vulnerability in Internet Explorer versions 5.01 and 5.5 known as the Automatic Execution of Embedded MIME Type. This vulnerability causes Internet Explorer to automatically run executable file attachments in email messages.

6. TROJ_SMALL.EDW

Malware Type: Trojan
This Trojan arrives as a file dropped by other malware like WORM_NUWAR.CQ or as a file downloaded unknowingly by a user when visiting malicious URLs. It may also arrive as a downloaded copy by earlier variants.

This is Trend Micro's detection for unknown and future variants of WORM_RONTOKBRO and WORM_BRONTOK malware programs. It serves as a proactive means of safeguarding against possible attacks of the aforementioned malware.

8. WORM_ANIG.A

Malware Type: Worm
This memory-resident worm propagates by dropping copies of itself in shared network drives. It steals login information and saves the obtained data in a file, which can be retrieved by a remote user. Its keylogger component substitutes the standard Microsoft Graphical Identification and Authentication DLL (MSGINA.DLL) to carry out its information-stealing routine.

9. PE_PARITE.A

Malware Type: Worm
This file infector infects .EXE and .SCR files on an infected system and on remote network shares with read and write access. It makes use of port 30167 in order to access network shares. It stays in memory by injecting itself into EXPLORER.EXE; thus, hiding its running process.

10. WORM_MOFEI.B

Malware Type: Worm
This destructive, memory-resident worm attempts to log on to remote machines using a list of user names. It then drops and executes a copy of itself on the remote machines. It has backdoor capabilities, and may execute commands coming from a remote malicious user. The said routine provides the remote user virtual control over the affected machine, thus compromising system security.

Trojan Attack!!

Its been long due..a virus/trojan attack was bound to happen and i was just clinging onto the hope that AVG8 would be able to protect my comp..but on lines of expectations it dint!!Its as useless and ineffective!!The trojans keep attacking and keep multiplying and some weird .gif images numbered from 1 to 15 are getting created in the TEMP folder! i cant do a shit but delete it or patiently read the pop up from AVG that theres an infection on board!!!YES I ALREADY KNOW THAT >>NOW DO SOMETHING SUCKA!!!

Ive tried every trick under the sun to get rid off it...y the hell doesnt system restore work when needed the most!!!Am counting down all available options and i think the only thing thats gonna work now is formatting and installing windows again...Anyone has any suggestions on how to kil these trojans please feel free to debate them here!! Atleast it might help someone else out...

Bill Gates has retired from Microsoft but i dont think the viruses want to leave MS so soon!!Philanthropy aint there cup of tea!!So expectedly i again propagate LINUX and especially UBUNTU..dono wads keepin me away from installin it again...y am i so lazy!!!!And for all those fools who think that by reading my blog trojans are gonna come onto their sytems...yes they will cause its my curse.the curse of the deadly diamond(what did i just type??)..if i have to suffer so do u ..lol

A soldier's General, Field Marshal Sam Hormusji Framji Jamshedji Manekshaw !

Having met this great personality on 2 occasions when he had come down to the Hyderabad Public School for the prize distribution & investiture ceremonies and have received 2 prizes from him , news that Field Marshal Sam Hormusji Framji Jamshedji Manekshaw, whose military victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war led to the creation of Bangladesh, has died in Military Hospital in Wellington, Tamil Nadu late Thursday night was a shock. He was 94.The Padma Vibhushan and Military Cross awardee, who was admitted in the hospital for some time for "progressive lung disease", had slipped into a coma earlier and then finally passed away.

I'll like to throw some light on India's First Field Marshal who was fondly called as SAM BAHADUR!!

A soldier's General, Field Marshal Sam Hormusji Framji Jamshedji Manekshaw crafted India's greatest military victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war that created just not history but also a new nation.

Affectionately called "Sam Bahadur", Manekshaw (94) was the architect of many a military triumph but his finest hour came when Pakistani forces were vanquished in 14 days flat. And Bangladesh was born.

Handsome, witty and sporting his trademark handlebar moustache, Manekshaw had the rare distinction of being honoured for his bravery - Military Cross - right on the battle front itself during the Second World War. He was also the first Indian officer to command the Gorkhas after India got Independence.

Manekshaw, who got a second life after the young Captain survived near fatal wounds during the Second World War in Burma, is the first of only two Indian military officers to hold the highest rank of Field Marshal of the Indian Army (The other being Field Marshal K M Cariappa).

His distinguished military career spanned four decades from the British era and through five wars, including the Second World War.

Flamboyant by nature, Manekshaw always had his way with people, including his seniors and even the country's Head of Government.

Just before the Bangladesh operations in December 1971, the then prime minister Indira Gandhi asked Manekshaw ,who was the Army Chief then, "General are you ready" (for the war). Pat came the reply from the dapper officer, "I am always ready sweetie." Gandhi was not unpleased, nor offended.

On another occasion, Gandhi asked him whether he was planning to take over the country. Pointing to his long nose, the General replied: "I don't use it to poke into other's affairs."

When Gandhi asked him to go to Dhaka and accept the surrender of Pakistani forces, Manekshaw declined, magnanimously saying that honour should go to his army commander in the East (Lt Gen Jagjit Singh Aurora).

Manekshaw said he would only go if it were to accept the surrender of the entire Pakistani army.

A shrewd tactician, Manekshaw meticulously planned the Indian attack on Pakistan on both fronts -- East and West. While the Indian forces captured the then East Pakistan in the eastern sector, the army made heavy inroads in the western sector going up to Lahore.

Adopting a mature war strategy, he masterminded the rout of the Pakistan Army in one of the quickest victories in the recent military history to liberate Bangladesh.

Born on April 3, 1914 in Amritsar to Parsi parents who migrated to Punjab from the small town of Valsad on the Gujarat coast, Manekshaw rose to be the Eighth Chief of Staff of the Indian Army in 1969. The year of the General's birth was around the time when the First World War broke.

During World War II, Manekshaw saw action in the Burma campaign on Sittang River as a Captain with the 4/12 Frontier Force Regiment.

Manekshaw was leading a counter-offensive against the invading Japanese Army in Burma. During the course of the offensive he was hit by a burst of LMG bullets and was severely wounded in the stomach.

Major General D T Cowan spotted Manekshaw holding on to life and was aware of his valour in face of stiff resistance from the Japanese.

Fearing the worst, Major General Cowan quickly pinned his own Military Cross ribbon on to Manekshaw saying, "A dead person cannot be awarded a Military Cross." But luck was on the young Captain's side and he survived to be one of India's most popular Army Chiefs.

Manekshaw became the 8th Chief of Army Staff when he succeeded General Kumaramangalam on June 7, 1969. His years of military experience were soon put to the test as thousands of refugees from the erstwhile East Pakistan started crossing over to India as a result of oppression from West Pakistan. The volatile situation erupted into a full-scale war in December 1971 and the rest is history.

During the 1971 war, Manekshaw showed uncanny ability to motivate the forces, coupling it with a mature war strategy.

The war ended with Pakistan's unconditional surrender, and the formation of Bangladesh. More than 45,000 Pakistani soldiers and 45,000 civilian personnel were taken as POWs.

This led to the Shimla Agreement which opened the door to the creation of the nation of Bangladesh as separate from Pakistan.

The Field Marshal's wit was legendary. Once on a visit to his unit as Commanding Officer he asked what action was taken against a man who contracted veneral disease and when he was told the man's head was shaved off, he roared. "Shaved off? Dammit. he didn't do it with his head."

After completing his schooling in Amritsar and Sherwood College (Nainital), he joined the first batch of 40 cadets at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun on October 1, 1932. He passed out of the IMA in December 1934 and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Indian Army. He held several regimental assignments and was first attached to the Royal Scots and later to the 4/12 Frontier Force Regiment.

Having recovered from those near-fatal wounds in Burma, Manekshaw went for a course at Staff College, Quetta and later also served there as an instructor before being sent to join 12 Frontier Force Rifles in Burma under General (later Field Marshal) Slim's 14th Army.

He was once again involved in a fierce battle with the Japanese, and was wounded for a second time.

In 1937, at a social gathering in Lahore Manekshaw met Silloo Bode. They fell in love and were married on April 22, 1939. Silloo, a graduate of Bombay's Elphinstone College made an admirable wife and a wonderful mother.

Towards the close of World War II, Manekshaw was sent as Staff Officer to General Daisy in Indo-China where, after the Japanese surrender, he helped rehabilitate over 10,000 POWs.

He then went on a six-month lecture tour to Australia in 1946, and after his return served as a First Grade Staff Officer in the Military Operations Directorate.

Manekshaw showed acumen for planning and administration while handling the issues related to Partition in 1947, and later put to use his battle skills during the 1947-48 Jammu and Kashmir Operations.

After command of an Infantry Brigade, he was posted as the Commandant of the Infantry School and also became the Colonel of 8 Gorkha Rifles (which became his new regimental home, since his original parent regiment The 12th Frontier Force Regiment went on to join the new Pakistan Army at partition) and 61 Cavalry.

He commanded a Division in Jammu and Kashmir and a Corps in the North East, with a tenure as Commandant of Defence Services Staff College (DSSC) in between. As GOC-in-C, Eastern Command, he handled the tricky problem of insurgency in Nagaland and the grateful nation honoured him with a Padma Bhushan in 1968.

For his distinguished service to the country, the President of India awarded him a Padma Vibhushan in 1972.

The President conferred upon him the rank of Field Marshal, a prestigious honorary rank, on January 1, 1973. Manekshaw retired a fortnight later (although technically Field Marshals of the Indian Army never retire because the rank is conferred for life), on January 15, 1973, after completing nearly four decades of military service.

In 1961, his outspoken frankness got him into trouble with Defence Minister V K Krishna Menon and his protege of the time Lt Gen B M Kaul. He refused to toe Menon's line and was sidelined.

Manekshaw was vindicated soon after when the Indian army suffered a humiliating defeat in North East Frontier Agency (NEFA), now Arunachal Pradesh, the next year, at the hands of the Chinese that led to Menon's resignation. Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru rushed Manekshaw to NEFA to command the retreating Indian forces. This had an electrifying effect on the demoralised officers.

In no time, Manekshaw convinced the troops that the Chinese soldier was not "10 feet tall". His first order of the day said, "There will be no withdrawal without written orders and these orders shall never be issued." The soldiers showed faith in their new commander and successfully checked further ingress by the Chinese.

After retirement, Manekshaw settled down in Coonoor in the Nilgiris in Tamil Nadu.

2 days to go for my big test!!A month back i wrote abt the placement phobia ppl were goin through and how they were stressing themselves out!And now i think am exactly doin the same too as i just have 2 more days to go!! the reason for my phobia is the college administration which is sending these scary mails abt how tough its gonna be and technical stuff and all..PPl who have already gone through this and have gotten into companies like infosys have told me that there aint any technical stuff but the college administration disagrees with it totally!!And thats the scary part-Technical Interview!!!Am a decent student but then technical grillin is something am not at all looking forward too...Anyways i may not post much in the comin week got placement tests of infosys,wipro,accenture,capgemini(kanbay),deloitte etc in the coming week so will be preoccupied with it..

Are we ready for an election??? Some would say already abhi to ek khatam hua hai..but the way things are going..The Lok Sabha Elections make take place sooner than later..surely by the end of 2008 and not 2009 when they were scheduled to happen. And y do i think so?? The answers simple..The Prime Minister wants to go ahead with the Nuclear Deal(its called 123 agreement) despite the Left stickin to its stand that it doesnt want that to happen and if the government would go ahead with anything then they would reconsider support..put in better language it means..they would pull the government down..
The ships already sinking because of the state of the economy and inflation..the nuke deal will maroon it in no time!!!

So are we geared up for the elections?Better be..and this wil be a blessing in disguise cause the government wil take some citizen friendly steps and "we the people" will be in a better position to face the economic turmoil thats making the world go crazy.Btw we still do get holidays for elections so more days to relax and take that much needed rest...

okay ppl..i was having this weird conversation with this friend of mine on migraine.She suffers from it..so she tells me she suffers from it due to the following reasons

1)Coffee!
2)Cheese!
3)Photo- sensitivity!

Now this is as weird as it can be..cheese and migraine?? coffee and migraine?? and the best of all photo-sensitivity and migraine????????????? ill share with u the funda behind photo-sensitivity ..and dont mistake this with photosynthesis for god sake even though her concept and photosynthesis are very very much similar.As she says when she goes out in the sun..due to the sun shine there is a chemical change in her somehow and that triggers the release of certain chemicals into the brain that causes severe migraine!!! Aint it similar to photosynthesis??there sunlight and carbon dioxide cause certain chemical reactions and food is produced..in her case migraine :p

Dont ask me how cheese and migraine are because after hearin the photosynthesis story oops photo sensitivity thing i said lite!!i think i dont wanna fiddle with my concepts abt diseases :p..So anybody out there who has an explanation to this please feel free to help me out in giving a prescription to this mad freak!!

Murders,Mysteries and Media!!

Murder..Mystery..Media are three words which have become very common and kinda synonymous these days..These 3 words are taken in the same breath by every person on the streets and each can be easily replaced by the other..

The Arushi murder case still isnt over and the media has found a new murder mystery to solve..Padmapriya,the wife of a BJP MLA from Udipi,Karnataka was found dead..some say suicide in mysterious circumstances in a flat in Dwarka,Delhi. But wait the media still hasnt let the Arushi murder mystery fade away into the darkness.After the CBI stated that they had made Arushi's mother Nupur Talwar go through a Lie detector Test not once but thrice , the media has proclaimed that even she could be behind the murder.Anyways i shall not analyse this further as the CBI is still doin its job.

Murders..that too which are mysterious in nature has become fodder for news channels which have little or no information other than to run their channel and surprisingly sensational news channel which cover only these issues are ruling the TRPs..India TV is supposedly no 1 in certain rankings in the hindi television space.

All these media organisations run a parallel investigative agency i think on the lines of the CBI..they hire detectives ..u must have seen some asses on tv wearing dark goggles and speakin utter crap..some of these news channels think and they have their right to od so as we r a democratic country that their detective agency is way better then the police,CBI or CID..good for them i say!! eventually when they shut down due to the utter rubbish they show on their tv ..there so called detectives oops reporters can find jobs easily..

Till then ive got three words for u -MEDIA ! MYSTERY ! MURDER!

Gotta problem ??? Cant do much other than throwing ur television set off ur balcony!!

This is the question that haunts everyone once they r done with their schooling(12th) .....Engineering? Medicine?Law?fine Arts? Journalism?...the fields and opportunities are endless in this time and age but these enormous options itself cause much difficulty and confusion.Gone are the days where it was either u do engineering(BTech/BE),BA 0r medicine(MBBS)..apart from these there wasnt much and life was way simpler...now its complex..il illustrate this with an example of a friend of mine whose just finished 12th and doesnt know wat to do ...

She did damn well in her 12th boards but screwed up to a certain extent her EAMCET(Rank:13,000 approx) and Bits(total:252) exams..she wants certain subjects of her choice in certain colleges and sadly she cant ..and through donation its just not possible because she's too late..So after much thinking she said she wanted to od her MBA after her graduation so the choices were cut down to BITS-PILANI DUBAI (she got 95% in her 12th so wil be a cake walk for her to get a seat there) ,ST FRANCIS HYD where she thought she'll do a Bsc and then SreeNidhi college of engineering...

She went to sreenidhi ,dint like the crowd much so put that place on the back burner for now and the took a seat in st francis just as an option to fall back upon...bits dubai the results still have to come..

But sadly the confusion still aint over!! she wants to do her mba and if she needs to apply to certain colleges abroad(US mainly) she has to do a 4 year course and not a3 year course as in st francis!!!Y???? i have no fuckin clue y are these dumb rules made for indians in specific...

She comes upto me for help in deciding..ME of all ppl????? yes!!! okay if it wasnt for the MBA clause i would have told her go to St francis , enjoy life and then do the MBA but now ..am confused and clueless too...any suggestions anyone???

Confusion is the keyword here!! Am happy am done with all that very well knowing in a years time ill have to go through the same shit for my admissions into a B_school...y cant that bloody ass sitting in delhi make the system way simpler than waisting time in implementing quotas and calling certain ppl "yuvraj " and "the next PM"...

MORAL:Life is such a Bitch :p
